At CES 2025, Atari, in collaboration with MyArcade, introduced the GameStation Go, a portable console designed for both retro enthusiasts and modern gamers. This new device combines the nostalgic charm of Atari’s classic games with cutting-edge features. The GameStation Go comes preloaded with 200 games, including iconic titles like Pac-Man, Missile Command, Breakout, and Star Raiders. The console features a 16:9 screen ratio and supports HDMI output, allowing players to connect it to modern TVs or monitors. It also includes a USB-C charging port, a 3.5mm headphone jack, a microSD card slot, and Wi-Fi support.

What sets the GameStation Go apart is its innovative controller system. In addition to the standard D-pad and action buttons, the console includes a paddle, trackball, and even a number pad—perfect for recreating the classic arcade experience. The console's LED lights illuminate the necessary controls depending on the game you're playing. For example, when playing a game that requires the paddle, the corresponding buttons will light up, enhancing the immersive experience.

Though the GameStation Go is designed for retro gaming, it incorporates modern features such as Wi-Fi for future updates and additional game downloads. However, details about the internal specifications, including the processor, memory, and operating system, remain undisclosed. Given the focus on older games, it’s expected that the hardware won’t be overly advanced. The Atari GameStation Go will be available for purchase in the third quarter of 2025 for $150. The cost of additional controllers, which can be connected for multiplayer gaming, has not been revealed yet.
