Path of Exile 2 Developers Announce Patch 0.1.1 and Detail Upcoming Changes

Grinding Gear Games has wrapped up their New Year celebrations and resumed work on Path of Exile 2. Today, the developers released a video outlining the details of Patch 0.1.1, set to launch this week.

Key Changes in Patch 0.1.1:

  • Adjusted Balance: High-level maps will now feature revised spawn rates for mobs, magical and rare monsters, chests, essences, strongboxes, and artifacts, offering players greater rewards;
  • New Towers: Four new towers have been added, and the original Lost Towers map has been reworked;
  • Boss Integration: Players can now add bosses to maps;
  • Visual Enhancements: Improved visual effects across the board;
  • Atlas Improvements: Players can now zoom out further, view hints for locations, and see the location of the Citadel more easily;
  • Delirium Mechanics Update: Improved monster spawn behavior and increased Simulacrum drop rates by 20%;
  • Ritual Buffs: Omens now appear 60% more frequently during Ritual;
  • Expedition Enhancements: Better shop inventory in Expeditions;
  • The Arbiter of Ash Battle Update: Players will now have six attempts during this fight;
  • Improved Low-Level Uniques: Unique items will be more powerful at lower levels;
  • Console Features: Item filters are coming to console versions of the game.

A full list of changes will be released later. For now, it’s worth noting that the game is still in early access.
