I've been playing it for quite a long time, the game is good, BUT ONLY GOOD! It's not exactly an all-time masterpiece or game of the year, no, but overall it deserves praise. The gameplay (except for physics and animation), localization and control are excellent, a HUGE and GENERATED open and COMPLETELY destructible world, a lot of objects, firearms, throwing and melee weapons, there is crafting, construction, defense of your shelter, hunting, gathering, etc. d, etc. There are a lot of pluses, but there are also plenty of minuses: wooden physics and animation of zombies, weapons, vehicles, the graphics are a little let down and the plot is completely ABSENT (but guys, a good game in terms of gameplay is better than in terms of graphics and plot)! And since I came to this game quite a long time ago (around 16.2 alpha), I can say with confidence that its developers are not sitting still and have not abandoned the toy (respect for that). By the way, the experimental version of alpha 19 was recently released (oh my God, it’s already 19!), I looked at it from one stream and I can say that it has changed twice! New lighting, updated textures for it, new guns and tools, HD hands, more accurate localization, improved AI, some zombies in HD (there seem to be 8-9 of them remade), now they have become more frightening, shops have been remade for a post-apocalypse (this was really lacking), added a couple of new ones: a weapons store, small and large pharmacies, a library, an electronics store, updated the Red Mesa, RETURNED HUNGER AND THIRST INDICATORS (which is very important), changed the loading screen, added dynamic. music during the battle and the blood moon, at the merchants, near the sleeping bag. But this is only an EXPERIMENTAL version, so it contains bugs that will be fixed in the stable version (according to the developers, it will be released at the end of July)!
