Tales of Middle-Earth for Age of Empires 2 adds a large number of playable factions from The Lord of the Rings to the game.

In total, the developers promise to add 18 different factions with unique characters from the film including Rohan, Harad, Rivendell and Runa. Also new functions appeared in the mod, such as tax collection, naval battles and field engineering.

New landscapes and unique objects are also in fashion. It took more than 6 years to create Tales of the Mediterranean.
