An extremely interesting, but extremely incomprehensible plot, with some special feeling that will haunt you until the end of the game. The fact that everything happens according to the script that the hero himself wrote sometimes makes you shudder, and then say: “What geniuses the developers are!”
There is quite an interesting and somewhat hardcore combat here; to destroy the enemy you need to blind him with a flashlight, and then shoot him. The enemies themselves are also extremely unique and do not look like zombies or typical evil spirits, in short, like nothing else.
As for me, Alan Wake is the correct Alone in the Dark (2008), here even the darkness plays the role of the main antagonist of the game, and AitD (2008) itself is like God knows what, and I was disappointed with it, and after finishing Alan Uik, I even thought that this was a branch in the universe of One in the Dark, but no, this is a completely independent project in the universe of Remedy games.
Very atmospheric forest locations, dark graphics, excellent optimization, lots of secrets and balanced action.
