Amnesia: The Dark Descent is a truly frightening game, everything about it is frightening, from the magnificent music written especially for the game by composer Mikka Tarmia, to a rather extraordinary plot for horror. Amnesia has one rather unusual feature: as the game progresses, the main character begins to go crazy, which will allow you to forget about the world around you and plunge headlong into the gameplay.
The game, unlike many clichéd horror games, does not try to scare the player with an endless series of jump scares, it does it gradually, forcing you to lose your mind along with the protagonist. Therefore, connoisseurs of the genre should never pass it by, because Amnesia really brought something new to the genre. I recommend this game to others, but I warn you that it will keep you in suspense and fear and will not let you go until the credits roll.
