Amnesia: The Dark Descent is a truly frightening game, everything about it is frightening, from the magnificent music written especially for the game by composer Mikka Tarmia, to a rather extraordinary plot for horror. Amnesia has one rather unusual feature: as the game progresses, the main character begins to go crazy, which will allow you to forget about the world around you and plunge headlong into the gameplay.

The game, unlike many clichéd horror games, does not try to scare the player with an endless series of jump scares, it does it gradually, forcing you to lose your mind along with the protagonist. Therefore, connoisseurs of the genre should never pass it by, because Amnesia really brought something new to the genre. I recommend this game to others, but I warn you that it will keep… Read full

Amnesia: The Dark Descent is a shining example of what a

horror game should be. It was very interesting to go through it. The game is very creepy and atmospheric.

I can’t rate it higher because I’m comparing Amnesia with another game from the same studio. Soma, in my opinion, turned out to be much more intense. She held the cold hands of silent horror throughout the entire passage. In Amnesia, fear gradually recedes as soon as the fog of the unknown dissipates

Legendary horror, which is much better than Outlast and the like. A small studio from Sweden was able to make a breakthrough in the horror genre by taking away any opportunity for the player to defend himself, and forcing him to simply run or hide.

There is a really interesting plot, incredibly atmospheric graphics, breakthrough physics for its time (almost any object in the game can be touched, turned or thrown a few meters forward), excellent music, etc.

Thanks to this game, one of the most famous jokes appeared - Grant. This is a creature that rattles chains, growls unpleasantly, limps, runs, and has a painted snout with fish eyes. I think that it is somewhere, but, one way or another, almost everyone has seen it.

A gloomy picture of what is happening, slowly but surely, emerges before u… Read full

A very atmospheric game. You play as Daniel, a guy who wakes up in the corridor of a dark castle with a partially lost memory. As you go through gloomy rooms, collecting notes and scraps from Daniel’s diary, you must understand why you don’t remember anything, what kind of castle this is, who the Shadow is, tirelessly following you, and why you can hear screams and crying from the cells. The game scares not with its screamers, but with its atmosphere and the story of what people are capable of to save their lives. 10 out of 10
