The first thing that greets us is music and a picture. In terms of graphics, I can’t say anything beyond flat or outstanding; the picture of the world itself is quite rich and that’s a plus. The musical accompaniment and ambient in the game are at the highest level, I think the atmosphere of the game was especially “heard” by players from the Russian Federation and the CIS countries.
Gameplay. “atomic heart” did not live up to my expectations. I will even say that I consider it a great success that I abandoned the idea of purchasing it at the start for a “full” price tag and ran it through the subscription on the box. What they showed me as a viewer in the trailer and the game itself are two different planes. It seems that the developers tried to make “domestic gears”, but something went wrong. Shooting and “HRAZ attacks” are interesting at first, but again, I personally got bored quite quickly. Perhaps if the weapons were more futuristic and varied, the attitude would be different. But we have what we have)) There is no destruction in the game at all, as they say, “everything” is nailed to the floor.” “Parkour” in the game is implemented disgustingly, the character is not felt at all, sometimes it sticks, sometimes it doesn’t, I even had to get used to this “animation”, when it feels like the main character is going to lose control, but at the last moment he catches. Dodging, jumping - these are all negatively realized physics of the game. The collection of resources is presented through a “glove” and this is extremely inconvenient. When you're waiting for action, you don't have a particularly strong desire to spend a significant part of your time emptying boxes and double-checking “did I take everything or was half left in the chest again?”
Plot: again, as for me, it is no better than modern domestic cinema. There are no overly intriguing plot twists here. Everything is quite flat and obvious; often an attentive player will realize certain things many times faster than the GG will notice. There are basically no fractures in the GG’s personality or story line. By the way, the GG himself often behaves and projects his thoughts into the ear in such a way that you don’t want to associate yourself with him at all. Personally, I won’t count the vulgarity and humor that permeate the game as a plus... yes: the game contains funny dialogues and Easter eggs, but this drop does not form a positive attitude towards the plot as a whole. Well, the presentation of the lore, through the standard one, read it yourself in “microscopes”... it’s a bit boring with such potential.
About the open world. If we call an open world just a linear map with a bunch of monotonous enemies - an open world, then ok - there is an open world here.
Management and optimization: I repeat, I played on the Xbox console. I don’t have the habit of changing the controls in a game on a controller, because I think that the developer knows better. But it was uncomfortable for me to use the scanner and collection on one button, by the way, sometimes the GG also takes all sorts of rubbish instead of what the player needs and this was the main disadvantage. With the scanner turned on, the GG stops running, there is also no acceleration, thanks to the fact that there is a jerk, which, by the way, needs to be pumped up separately for a double tap. At the time of my playthrough, the GG was constantly stuck between everything that can and cannot be stuck. Sometimes I was able to jump out, and sometimes I had to restart. Twice during the gameplay the game closed spontaneously, which was not convenient, because there is no functionality to save from the menu, and there are significantly fewer save points than the number of bugs per square meter of the game world.
Conclusion:
Run around in gears, follow the plot and lore of the control, listen to the dialogues in exodus... and draw your own conclusion)) Of course, all games are different and each person has their own taste. This project hooked me only because of the musical accompaniment, perhaps I was expecting too much.
Достаточно написать что игра дно. Тот же timeshift до сих пор играется норм, а эти архаровцы просто взяли движок, запили простенькие анимации и наставили чекпоинтов, не особо запариваясь с геймплеем, такое ощущение будто мне должны заплатить за то что я в нее играю
