One of the most unusual and colorful Rockstar projects.
Usually the school becomes the setting in Japanese works, but in the Western gaming industry this is not so much the case.
Well, apparently the rock stars decided to correct the situation.
They corrected it so that I’m still waiting for a sequel (but it’s still not there) and after so much time, Bully still remains in my heart.
In short, the developers took the GTA concept and reduced it to the school level, but - most importantly - diversified the gameplay.
There are fights, go-kart racing, lessons, going on dates and other delights of school time.
About the lessons, because... our red-haired Mr. Jimmy Hopkins is a schoolboy, then he needs to go to lessons or not (do what you want, I don’t care), but if Jimmy is still dragged to lessons, such as chemistry, physics, art, etc., then mini-games await him, and if our red-haired one still copes with the tasks, then his certain skill will be upgraded: you go to physics classes - you will learn new techniques, you will get through qte in chemistry - you can do all sorts of nice things, like firecrackers, etc., you will win in qix during an art lesson - you will get the opportunity to kiss girls (at least somewhere you have to do this).
Why do our pimply hero need skills? And to facilitate the passage of story missions, which take place first on the school grounds, and then in a small town.
And the missions consist of something like: break the hooligan's bread slicer, throw eggs at the major's house, bring lingerie for the teacher, or get the teacher out of the daze and stuff like that, there is plenty of such fun school trash and frenzy in the game.
Well, in general, thanks to the gameplay, coupled with the soulful atmosphere, as well as the wonderful soundtrack by Sean Lee, Bullworth lives so much that you want to return to it again and again.
Damn son I love this game.
