So, I completed twenty-two of the 24 story missions and deleted the game. Why? I'll tell you now. I'll start with a general story, then the pros and cons, and finally a short summary story.

Dead Island 2 is a game with one of the most realistic physics of damage to the enemy’s body, which is zombies of different types in this game. Absolutely everything is visible - muscles, organs, bones, tissues and other realistic damage. For example, another realistic detail: if you deliver several blows to the face, or rather the jaw to the lower teeth, the jaw will not just fly off, but will hang down and there can be dozens, if not hundreds, of such realistic moments. About the bones, if you hit the kneecaps too hard, then the zombie will have an open fracture. Also, the types of weapons differ not o… Read full

Pros: good optimization, beautiful and well-developed locations, there are quite interesting weapon upgrades

Cons: the plot begins to develop towards the end, monotonous and boring gameplay, there is absolutely nothing to do in multiplayer, you don’t have to bother killing most enemies until almost the end of the game, Only with the appearance of the butchers does the movement begin, I defeated the final boss in half a minute, and sometimes it took a lot of work to kill some ordinary enemies. And, on top of that, overprice.

I've been waiting for this game since its announcement, since then it has been remade several times and transferred several times to different developers. Let me start by saying that the optimization in this game is very good. On my old RX 480 (analogous to the GTX 1060) at high settings it produces 45-60 fps at 1080p. It also has a lush and atmospheric picture, reminiscent of my favorite film “Dawn of the Dead (2004)”. It’s a pity, of course, that the events do not take place on the island as in the first part.

What I liked most about this game was the dismemberment, I'm very pleased with it. Due to damage to the soft tissues, the skeleton is visible, and the organs are visible through the ribs, and if you kick a dead man, they begin to shake inside the skeleton... it’s just amazing!

Unlike the first part, the plot takes place not on an island, but in a city; the locations are more confusing and more interesting. The passage will definitely not let you get bored - zombies are no longer as easy to kill as in the first part.

A great game for killing time and having fun crushing zombies with a friend.

And this is the problem - it’s simply not interesting to play this game solo.

There is no good plot in it, here it is rather just for the general connection of locations and the motive of the game.

The game opens only in co-op mode
