I've been waiting for this game since its announcement, since then it has been remade several times and transferred several times to different developers. Let me start by saying that the optimization in this game is very good. On my old RX 480 (analogous to the GTX 1060) at high settings it produces 45-60 fps at 1080p. It also has a lush and atmospheric picture, reminiscent of my favorite film “Dawn of the Dead (2004)”. It’s a pity, of course, that the events do not take place on the island as in the first part.
What I liked most about this game was the dismemberment, I'm very pleased with it. Due to damage to the soft tissues, the skeleton is visible, and the organs are visible through the ribs, and if you kick a dead man, they begin to shake inside the skeleton... it’s just amazing! 😀The graphics and effects are also top notch, but there is some strange thing with the reflections... they just don’t appear... in 2023 it looks strange to say the least. It’s also annoying that you can’t close the doors behind you and the respawn of the dead right behind your back... I would give 5 stars if it weren’t for these jambs with reflections, doors and zombie respawn.
