A rather paradoxical game, in which there are more minuses than pluses, but this does not mean that it is terrible. In short, playing solo is not recommended.
PROS: The atmosphere of oppressive hopelessness, a one-way ticket, is conveyed simply perfectly, even the love story is very appropriate in this regard. The theme of saving the world is revealed, which, completely poisoned by the ideas of unitology, may not even want to save itself.
Some people may not like the new mechanics of management (crafting instead of buying, universal ammo) and weapons, but thanks to this there is always an incentive to experiment with different weapon modules.
CONS:
Playing solo is very boring, especially at the final levels in the caves of an ancient civilization where there are simply huge spaces. The focus on cooperation is clearly visible in cutscenes where Carver appears out of nowhere, but...
...But the game is sorely lacking in scripted moments where real cooperation is required. One of the best episodes in the game - the descent to Tau Volantis on an old shuttle - is connected with this. Carver drives, Isaac shoots, and despite the casualness, there was real excitement in this. There are no such places anymore, then there is only a routine with mini-games, synchronized pressing of levers, ledges. Players also cannot exchange crafting resources.
Crafting, although good, is not ideal. Making a barrel from scratch according to a drawing with the resources you have picked up can only be done by saving fiercely, otherwise the game unobtrusively offers donations (!). There are only enough of them for individual modules, and for cartridges with first aid kits. Personally, in the entire game I was never able to make a weapon completely
In the co-op there were bugs with cutscenes, failures in textures, rarely but accurately.
The story DLC is too overpriced for three levels that can be completed in an evening (and they are also not included in Origin Access)
Unseen all the cons, the game is worth going through if you have completed parts 1 and 2. Preferably with a friend
