DOTA from a mod widely known in narrow circles has turned into a super popular F2P eSports discipline, which clearly did not benefit it. If the classic mod for Warcraft 3 attracted everyone with its simple and interesting gameplay, then the second part lost all its charm and simplicity. The introduction of the MMR system separated the weak players from the strong, no doubt, but even at 4000 MMR you can meet people who seem to have started the game for the first time. Although the game receives tons of updates weekly, it is incredibly boring and monotonous to play. Especially if you are a beginner and just want to play the game without looking at hundreds of character and purchasing guides. + in the rating game there is only 1 map, which has dynamic weather to provide at least some variety, but in this regard the game is saved by custom modes, some of which are funny and will not make you bored. In other respects (except for graphics), the game is inferior to its predecessor in everything and it would be better to support the original rather than part 2. The presence of microtransactions (albeit optional) also does not benefit the game, although with a bit of luck you can get benefits from this.
In general, I shouldn’t have started with this MOBA, and not with the League of Legends.
