Dota 2 is a continuation of the legendary team tactical and strategic game with role-playing game elements, in which each player controls one hero, and, if the hero has the appropriate abilities, a number of additional creatures. During the gameplay, over time and depending on the success of his actions, the player gains experience, discovering new abilities of his hero, and money, which he spends on purchasing various items. The main objective of the game for each of the two teams is to destroy the enemy camp protected by towers. Players control only their hero; the heroes are assisted by computer-controlled units called “creeps.”

Dota 2 is a legendary mob and remains so today. The game has 3 main problems:
- developers and balancers
- community
- rating system
Everything described above really spoils both the game and the feeling after it. Instead of pleasure, you will only burn. The barrier to entry into the game is very low. Beginners need six months or a year to acquire the necessary skills and knowledge. The recent transition to Source 2 cannot be called a super successful transition (due to the abundance of bugs). Now you need more powerful hardware for a comfortable game.
If you haven’t played before, then there’s no point in starting now. In the same hots it will be easier to start, and you will get more pleasure.
Дота 2 — легендарная моба и такой и остается на сегодняшний день. В игре есть 3 основных проблемы:
- разработчики и балансеры
- комьюнити
- рейтинговая система
Все что описано выше действительно портит как игру, так и ощущения после нее. Вместо удовольствие вы будите только гореть. Порог входа в игру очень низкий. Новичкам требуется по полгода, год для обретения нужных навыков и знаний. Недавний переход на сурс 2 нельзя назвать супер удачным переходом (из-за обилие багов). Теперь требуется более мощное железо для комфортной игры.
Если не играли раньше, то и сейчас нет смысла начинать. В той же hots будет проще начать, да и удовольствие больше получите.

There are a million games in which you will have fun, and not what will happen to you in Dota. Constant reminders of your mother and the guys who came in “just to play with beer” - all this will lead to you immediately giving up playing it or spending a lot of time, and then quitting anyway. I definitely don't recommend playing this

MOBA fans should like it. Well, try it, because the game is completely free on STEAM.
Случайно поставил игре 10. Так вот, DOTA 2 это продолжение той самой карты для Warcraft 3. Чтобы кто не говорил, игра хорошая и может вполне называть себя бесплатной игрой, ведь с платных сервисов в этой игре толку мало. Прежде чем играть в эту игру нужно её, так сказать, осилить, ведь новички могут уже с первой минуты отдать мид (так называется середина карты) более опытным соперникам. Так о чём это я? Игра почти не осталось изменённой по сравнению с самой первой DotA. Ежегодные крупные чемпионаты по игре присутствуют. Недавно по ней прошёл турнир на 10 миллионов $.
Любителям MOBA должно понравится. Ну и вы попробуйте, ибо игра полностью бесплатная в STEAM.
