I don't see any reason why this game isn't worthy of good ratings and words. Many follow the trend and foam at the mouth with bad reviews, but, having played Dota for more than 5 years and, of course, a couple of thousand hours, I can say that the game is wonderful in everything.
Let's start with something simple. How was the soundtrack recorded? Live. Chorus. Conductor. Tools. This is a whole work of art - not every creator and publisher can invest in a game like that.

However, all this, firstly, motivates you to raise your skill, -secondly, the ability to not pay attention to unnecessary information. And at any time you can ban teammates in voice and chat and play calmly, without worrying about someone getting burned out.
Graphics? I think that this is the only and very conditional minus. The game is also designed for weak PCs, so I believe that it is not profitable for the publisher to add something more beautiful and resource-intensive.
Paid content? Oh my God, don't buy anything. Every game has paid content. Unless Dota Plus is useful, which sometimes really helps with guides, creep removal timer and analysis of damage received and the dynamics of gold earnings. It's true. You see how you develop in the game itself and that's cool.
Well, the controls are, of course, difficult. However, after 10-20-30 games you will get tired of not understanding what exactly you are doing, you will go into the settings and study everything in detail. First, write it on a piece of paper and put it in front of you so you don’t forget, and over time you’ll become familiar with the buttons like that folder.
I would like to summarize what the taste and color are... Therefore, I personally either like each game and is addictive, making you THINK, or it is immediately uninteresting. Dota at one time made me very tense, and that is why the score is so high.
