Games Dota 2 All reviews Review from FP

Coming here, I was not surprised by such an assessment from the players. It’s popular in Russia, but quite a lot of people hate it. The following can be said about the game itself: Dota is like poker: the basics are easy to learn, but you can take a lifetime to comprehend the subtleties and secrets.

Dota is a game that made a breakthrough in eSports (prize fund of $1,000,000). Also, Dota is a multi-faceted game, with a division of roles both in distribution across lines (offlaner, mid, etc.) and in responsibilities throughout the game (carry, support, tank, etc. .). There are also secondary roles (jungler, nuker, ganger, etc.), and each of them must play their role, be a cog in the system, and jointly lead the team to victory by destroying the enemy Ancient One (Tron).

But where did Dotacome from? Or rather, even DotA? It all started with a custom map for the game Starcraft called Aeon of Strife. The map was transferred to Warcraft III and began to be developed. And so a legend was born. I want to say this: having played Dota 1700+ hours, I do not regret the time spent. Although the game is currently being developed, the distribution model, when it was only accessible by invite (until June-July 2011), is best suited for it.

Do I like this game? Absolutely yes. Do I recommend it for beginners? Definitely not. Why not? Yes, because now there are many people who, having played ~1000-2000 hours, make new accounts, playing with beginners and preventing them from learning the game and developing in their knowledge of Dota.
