Earth Defense Force 4.1: The Shadow of New Despair is an improved edition of Earth Defense Force 2025 for modern platforms. The game takes place in the near future, where you have to fight against the invasion of hordes of alien insects. More than a hundred levels await you, which you can complete either alone or in cooperative mode with friends. In addition, there is an extensive arsenal of firearms, combat robots, futuristic gadgets and four specialization classes available.
