What could be better than fallout? Only fallout 2!
That same timeless classic that people look up to, argue about, and remember with a sigh years later.
The world, already beloved in the first part, has become even larger, more diverse and deadlier. Not only rabid bandits and heavily armed mutants are dangerous for the character, but also ants, rats and lizards. Yes, of course, all of them mutated and grew completely out of size.
This time the stakes are higher than in the first part. Although no one forces you to immediately run to save the world, because the most delicious things, as always, are located away from the main road. You can guard caravans, shooting back from bandits, and, of course, taking larger guns from still-warm bodies, you can become a slave trader or hire help from one of the local sheriffs. The choice is yours.
Well, bunkers and shelters, where would we be without them? These fragments of the former world are not found so often, because of how much valuable and deadly they store in their underground wombs.
I would say the icing on the cake is the stories about the fate of cities and characters, after completing the game, which change depending on the decisions you make. The developers make it clear that each of our choices has its own weight and can lead to very tangible consequences for those who are trying to survive in the wasteland.
