Daddy Todd Howard is taking the series to no one knows where again. I endured part 3, rejoiced at the top New Vegas, but this horror simply brings me to tears.

It will work, but much worse than the previous parts, and the RPG system has basically degraded. The interface is not very good, but the gameplay is more of a shooter
The game is very interesting, I can only say that I upgraded my computer to play because of it. I wasn't disappointed. Lots of new features, interesting locations and not always simple and linear tasks.
Well, what can I say. I went through it twice, there are simply a bunch of different paths and options for the development of events - it’s a joke. The graphics were a pleasant surprise; on my relatively weak home computer, it was a blast. On the plus side - a wide variety of weapons, equipment, resources, all in the consistent traditions of the universe, arrangement of huts and villages is generally my favorite pastime))) Personally, I was never bored while playing. But the game still couldn’t leave a very deep impression on my soul. So a solid 9 overall.
after the game I started collecting Coca-Cola caps because I realized how needed they would be after a nuclear attack
It's not a very good Fallout, but it's definitely a good game.

Incredibly cool game!
The shooter element added to the game didn't have a bad effect on Frost. Sometimes I missed this in part 3. The graphics are good enough, I'm not too picky in this regard. I liked the plot and I was surprised by this turn and it was really difficult to decide what to do. Side quests really diluted the wandering around the wasteland, which, by the way, is also beautiful. I liked the fact that some quests, like in part 3, changed the environment (ship). In addition, unfortunately I haven’t played it yet. The game is very addictive and requires a lot of time in one session. I don’t have it yet, but I’ll definitely find it and look under every stone!
Honestly, I don’t understand why the game should be praised... In general, I’ve always been very sensitive to the world of folych and I was honestly offended by first Oblivion with guns, and now Skyrim. And if in New Vegas they at least corrected the plot, then in Not a single addition did this to the 4th part. Of course, the newcomers will snort and spit in the direction of the oldfag, who, in the role of the chosen inhabitant of the shelter, roamed the wastelands when they really were not in the project, but I think other oldfags will understand me. If we abstract from the plot, in fact, we won’t find anything special. Everything is within the mainstream of the year of release. Conspiracy theory and secret laboratories... Graphics... The level is slightly higher than Skyrim. A plus can b… Read full
I really liked the game. Well-designed locations. Two huge DLCs and some interesting ones. A plot with an unexpected twist.
I really liked the settlement construction system. This does not spoil the game, but on the contrary, adds interest. In general, I recommend the game.
Quite an interesting game with an open world, positions itself as an RPG (although it is more action-oriented), variable progression, tons of unnecessary quests, mediocre graphics and all this coupled with good gameplay. Quite good, but I like Fallout 3 (and maybe even 76) a little more.
Folych 4 is something between average and good, because everything seems to be good, but at the same time it’s not very good, I’ll explain. We don’t have a strong plot with empty dialogues, but a rather interesting branch with leveling up. There is an outdated engine, and there are also interesting secondary quests that can sometimes be completed instead of the story. There is also a system for pumping up armor, weapons, and other nonsense, but this does not play a big role (although it is interesting). You can also notice the cool humor and funny companions, which is worth a Valentine.
In general, we can conclude that the game is just average, even though it worked for me
P.s: I forgot about the shitty SPECIAL system, which was very coolly implemented in previous fallout games, but now it’s just numbers.
As one of my friends put it regarding this game - homeless simulator 😄
In fact, the game came out well. How quickly you progress through the story will depend on you. You can open all the locations if you want, and in some of them you can also populate people and protect them with turrets. If you want, you can complete the main tasks and some of the side ones. If you want, you can do more than you need. Of course, for some tasks you will have to raise your character to a certain level, which is why the game will drag on, but in general, if you wish, you can go through it quickly.
Personally, I really enjoyed the game and I play through it slowly, exploring the entire map, trying to improve some settlements.
Pros +
1) Atmosphere - everything became bright, not gray, the Fallout series of games has always been inviting to a world with the style of destroyed America of the twentieth century.
2) Crafting is a wonderful craft in which you can make an uber gun from any piece of wood.
3) Companions are interesting characters who can walk with you and comment on your actions.
4) Quests – there are several interesting side quests. DLS Far Harbor was interesting
5) Shooting - nice, but not ideal
Cons -
1) Plot - the game could have had a normal plot, but it doesn't!
2) Quests – there are a lot of buildings in the game, come on, and they are all dull!
3) Settlement – could have been an interesting mechanic, but no! The settlers don't do anything, it's not convenient to build, it looked cool in the trailer!
Great game. I went through it 4 times with 4 different endings and didn’t get tired of it, I even remained interested in the game. The main advantages of Fallout:
Good graphics.
Good plot and its options
The number of weapons, armor and modifications is huge, and construction also gives the opportunity to express yourself.
Overall 10/10
The game is not bad (although I didn’t finish it)
The main plot is boring, a little banal, and overall mediocre.
As for the RPG component, overall it’s not bad.
The open world is probably one of the best in the last decade, because unlike a bunch of modern AAA games, where the huge open world is not filled with anything, it’s really interesting to wander around the locations and collect various cool things, even apart from quests.
Well, the mechanics of building a base are really well implemented. Seriously, building a house for yourself is a very addictive task.
Actually, it’s 7/10, if you’re a fan of the series and a fan of the genre, you should check it out.
A good RPG from the Fallout series. The gameplay is somewhat similar in all gazebo games. The plot in this part is weak. Side quests are more interesting. There is pumping. The shooting began to stand out more than rgp. The graphics are passable. It’s quite possible to play, but you shouldn’t expect anything mega cool. Well, again, taste may suit someone very well.
The most dynamic part of fallout. A cheerful survival game with good graphics and entertaining combat with the V.A.T.S. tactical system, referencing the first two parts of the series.
Very good nuclear post-apocalyptic action.
The game is a miracle. I say this boldly, because in a week or two I will have 6,000 hours played.
And this is only under license. You understand that the game’s shortcomings simply pale in comparison to the unfolding events in the wasteland. I've been hooked on it since it came out to this day. I played the “pure” game, and with mods and with paid mods, I completed the game with ten or fifteen builds from YouTube and from different sites. I just can’t put it down, although I put the game down 20-30 times, swore off returning to it, but 2-3 days passed and I was back in it. This doesn't happen with a bad game. Many thanks to Besedka for the game, and I’ll just say about Inon Zur’s music - DIVINE.
The game is certainly good, but I didn’t like the factions in the original game at all. If in Skyrim the guilds were neutral (with the exception of the empire and the storm brothers) and you could go through them all in one playthrough, then in Fallout 4 a faction is a mandatory thing where you must join according to the plot
and if you join one faction you will have to destroy others. And the fact is that they are absolutely all stupid. Their motives and goals that drive them, on the contrary, very much push you away from getting to know them, for example, some are idiots, others are radicals, others are completely stoned and decide to set stupid goals for themselves.
The only normal option is the Minutemen, especially since they are neutral and don’t fight with anyone, but there is one th… Read full
