Games Far Cry 3 All reviews Review from Jackie

At one time, my faith in Ubisoft died. The concept of assassins was just starting to die, Sam Fisher was turned into Bourne, the Prince of Persia was mocked with an unnecessary "as if" 4th part. Oh, how much hatred there was for the 3rd part. And how much happiness there was when I spent the first few hours in it.

This is a game about a beautiful island, the madmen who inhabit it and fun on the edge of life. I know it sounds pretentious, but let me break it down. The island is really very beautiful. Even now, in 2015, it looks very juicy and alive, where animals hunt, attack people and joyfully eat your ass while you look out for the enemy. By the way, Vaas is far from the most charismatic character in the game. This is simply a kingdom of strange characters with outlandish quirks, incomparable to any Ubisoft game.

Well, I’ll tell you more about that very “edge”. If in most games we are either too weak to fight with all the hardships of the world, or too strong, then here we start, albeit a weak hero, but capable of getting out of everything we got ourselves into. Yes, it’s hard, but it also encourages you to act more thoughtfully, to join the pace of the island, and that’s great.

The game also has excellent stealth, a good feel for weapons, vehicles and the hero, and good localization. Yes, yes, there is a lot of swearing, emotions change from sentence to sentence, but in comparison with the majority, this is a very good job, and these problems do not arise as often as they could.

Far Cry 3 is an important game for me. It restored my faith in Ubisoft, proved that they can make a fun open world, and just a great action game. It’s a pity they write average stories and co-op/multiplayer for show. Although the latter is not very bad, it would work fine...
