Hello. Look what a thing. Far Cry hasn't been around for 6 years (if you think that 4 and Primal can be considered full-fledged games in the series, then let's remember). So, there hasn’t been a full-fledged game in the series for 6 years. The top three remained the best. So has something changed? No.
The third part is still the best in the series. And here's why.
No main character, no plot, no setting, no interesting tasks (except 1-2), no interesting characters. The player has no motivation or incentive to do all this. I played 20 hours (but it’s an empty game, I’m not interested, how is that possible?). I just need to go through it for review. And I force myself to play it. Do you know what the 3 main mistakes of this game are?
1 - logic. In the game you can buy equipment (planes, cars, boats). The roads are closed for boats and cars. But you can fly on a plane for help and call the National Guard. But no. Something that cannot happen is happening. Yes, it’s a game convention, but it needs to be justified somehow. In addition, having bought a car, you will not be able to call it to you; you can only take it in the store. Stupidity. It turns out there is no point in buying a car.
2 - absence of the main character. With the way the game looks, a registered GG could pull it off. But no. On assignments you are simply given a task. Despite the fact that, for example, the same Corvo is just as silent, but he is registered. And here it's just a mannequin. Because of this, there is no production. In part 3, when the player accepted a task, he received dialogue and some interesting stories. Nothing here.
3 — resistance points system. (-Who are they resisting? -Common sense). There are 3 territories, 3 leaders. To defeat them, you need to gain resistance points. 10,000 for one and 13,000 for the second and third leaders. Firstly, by gaining these points you can skip a bunch of story missions. And if you want, don’t do them at all. And besides, they are not interesting. Here you want to quickly score points and get to the leader, and not carry out the same type of tasks without any background.
If I pass then I will pass. I’ll make a review, most likely the only negative one on YouTube, and I’ll wait for the re-release of part 3 so I can go through it 6 times.
Oh, and yes, the Ubisoft towers were removed. Well, towers! You know they laughed at them, right? Oh, and they also removed the towers. To hell with it, in short.
