The review was written while the game was still in development.

I want to try to play such a game because there are raiders who will be everywhere, travel around the USA, and craft and give away their captured outposts and it’s cool

An excellent continuation of the excellent fifth part of Far Cry. It should be noted right away that each such “add-on” is something like an additional script on a license plate engine and cannot boast of a long plot, but, like previous similar projects, it has a well-developed, memorable atmosphere and its own personality.

We are transported almost twenty years after the final credits of the fifth part, to a world where nuclear explosions have left a piece of untouched land among the ruins of the old world.

The gameplay has been updated with several new mechanics, the most notable of which is crafting from “garbage” collected underfoot.

Also, among the huge advantages are drawing parallels with the fifth part, references, surviving characters, understanding the actions they took.

Pros

Atmosphere - in this game the open world is just a gun, I also liked their base, which can be improved

Cons

Gameplay - I didn’t like the rpg part of the game, in order to go further I have to level up my character and to level up a character, I mean grind

Outposts - In this game you need to capture the same outpost three times to finally complete it

This game also has superpowers, well, some of them are really good

Yubiks have one very bad habit - after greeting any product with triumphant exclamations, they begin to put this game on the conveyor belt, repeating essentially the same thing over and over again, changing only the scenery. The Far Cry series is a clear example of this system. After the wonderful 3rd part, they decided that here it is, the skeleton of the ideal game, so why not do the same thing? If in the previous parts they at least changed the surroundings, then in this one they were too lazy to do even that. It’s just that a schoolboy after school threw up a map of 5 parts purple mixed with pink - done. As they say, they eat it anyway. And the strangest thing is that they actually eat it. And that’s not even talking about the plot, which doesn’t exist. No, that’s enough. The game is definitely not worth the money

I bought it yesterday, played for 6 hours without getting up, not too bad. By the way, the money on Steam was saved for the metro, but alas.

This is not a game, but a stupid DLC, which is a shame to spend both money and time on.

All this game has is a very weak plot and several outposts that need to be replayed several times in order to get as much Ethanol (alcohol) as possible to upgrade your base....Why do you need alcohol to upgrade your base?! Okay, if it were necessary to collect resources, extract rare materials, etc., but alcohol....

Old characters from the series were added to the game, why? Who knows...

A new (old) element for this series was added to the game - RPG, because thanks to it, everything in the game will have a level: weapons, npc, vehicles.... That is , screwed up again, as always.

Although the DLC is a continuation of part 5, what the hell is going on in the game? It's like nuclear missiles hit Hope County, r… Read full
