The most interesting part of Far Cry in terms of the relevance of their signature mechanics.

Finally, collecting flowers and hunting various representatives of the four-legged population has become adequately played out. After all, everything is logical, if you want a better ax - find something made of it, if you want to carry more with you - get some skins, and not the way they previously forced the protagonist to fleece the poor little animals, when every person they meet has a sword belt and a hogshead of different stripes wrapped around them.

Regarding the plot and amount of content, Primal is a full-fledged representative of the “circumcised” Farkrai, i.e. not long, but made stylishly and well.

Pros

Atmosphere - You rarely see the Stone Age in games, I was very immersed in this game that I liked almost everything about it, how the world works, Enemies fight among themselves, animals find out who the Alpha is and there are a lot of such events in the game.

Gameplay - it is the same as the previous parts so I won’t talk about it, small changes are instead of small arms there are bows and spears

Skills - there are a lot of them in the game, and there are many interesting ones among them

Outposts - there are three types of them in the game and they are all very interesting to capture, especially bonfires

Weapons - even in the Stone Age there were a lot of weapons it turns out))) There is complete variety and each can be improved

Tasks of the Great Hunt - these are a couple of missions whe… Read full

In general, the idea is not bad: spears, bows, mammoths, the Stone Age... Moreover, graphics, sounds, models, animation, etc. - everything seems to be there. But... something is missing. The problem is that the developers (and these are, of course, talented people) never play their games themselves. That is, they don't play them the way the average gamer plays. Therefore, they often do not understand what exactly the player needs. And the player needs a challenge. Moreover, a challenge like “I bet you can’t finish 10 bosses in 10 minutes” won’t work. The player today is spoiled and not stupid - it’s difficult to please him. Because there are a lot of games on the gaming market - there is plenty to choose from. And in order for this particular game to be chosen, the developers have to work … Read full

Far Cry has always been an interesting game and each new part brought a lot of fun. And this “part” (you can’t call a full-fledged game, most likely a large dlc) brought a lot of pleasure, but also caused mixed feelings, namely, a note of dissatisfaction was the drm protection, which at the start of the game brought a lot of problems and inconveniences. The pricing also spoiled the impression a little, since they asked for a price for the game that was clearly too high for such a product. Well, the graphics somehow weren’t very impressive, but that’s just nitpicking))

As for the game world itself, it turned out to be rich, a little monotonous, but still interesting to explore. The plot, unfortunately, also lacks stars in the sky and it turned out to be very crumpled and short, which is why … Read full

Even when the game was just announced, I immediately had a complaint about it: why the hell did Ubisoft decide to essentially sell an addon for full price? There was a normal idea to release Blood Dragon for part 3 as an addition. But no. Having taken everything they could from Part 4, leaving a bare landscape with caves and redesigned Stone Age animals, Ubisoft released Primal on a cosmetically modified piece of the map from the same Part 4. Since part 3, the gameplay has not changed in any way, except that there are no firearms or equipment. The outposts and “towers” that act as signal fires here remain, and a bunch of icons are also present on the map. The only new thing to note is the taming of animals and the drone owl, which marks enemies and drops all sorts of nonsense on them, su… Read full
