The hitman series is one of my favorite series, the love for which was instilled in me by my father 15-20 years ago. After "absolution" (I didn't like the new presentation of the gameplay at all), we finally returned to the classic gameplay. Here is a map for you, kill this, that and the other, and then decide for yourself how to kill. I went through the same “blood money” (my favorite game in this series) absolutely without a map or tips, besides, at that time I didn’t have the Internet, so one mission could take a full 3-5 days (especially killing crows), and it was the greatest thrill. In this relaunch, the focus was clearly on “blood money”. But of course, according to modern traditions of the game, the difficulty level has been reduced, which is frustrating, since the first episodes of the franchise were quite hardcore. I would also like to complain about the small number of missions. Yes, I understand, sometimes you want to redo a mission differently, but damn seriously? 1 month for 1 episode??? I think 10 years ago it would have been too wild. Yes, the levels are of course large, but I really needed 2 hours to take my time, and replaying it 10 times to use all the features is not interesting. I wouldn't be able to stretch out one episode even for half a week. Fortunately, a few years later I completed all 6 episodes at once. Well, it turned out to be not enough for me, of course. Buy this at full price with all the episodes? The toad is choking heavily. This is perhaps the most important complaint. Of course, I would like to add something like: where is my rifle? Why is the inventory selection so poor? Why does the music remind me of the Sherlock series? The musical arrangement is somehow not right at all. I remember the soundtrack from “blood money”, but of course it’s not even close to that.
As a result, what do we have? The game is good, for me, an old fan, of course this restart is many times better than “absolution”, but it’s not “blood money” or “contracts”, I didn’t have enough gameplay and I think releasing episodes once a month is a failure. But overall I liked it.
