An unusual setting, I actually discovered the game by accident and don’t remember where, but I decided to buy it somehow. At first I didn’t like her, but then I really liked her! In short, this is a role-playing game in an unusual setting with an emphasis on really dynamic survival, where you have to do all this work for a homeless person somewhere in the Czech Republic. The serious atmosphere is diluted with a slightly humorous story, stylized as a kind of fantasy, when the setting is not fantasy at all. In general, we can talk about this for a long time, it’s easier to try!
Gameplay: the main feature is a mixture of RPG and survival simulator. The whole game is tied to quests, which are very diverse and have a humorous concept, tied to serious cabbage soup, that is, thoroughly filled with black humor. Basically, the game is about leveling up and interacting with the environment, like in a healthy RPG. The combat is turn-based and at the same time it makes everything that happens even funnier! Survival is extremely dynamic and you have to work quickly with your brain to survive until the end of the season, monitor not only indicators of hunger, thirst, cold, but also sleep, mood and even natural needs, try to avoid poisoning, bad habits and other debuffs. Gameplay-wise, the game can be off-putting due to its complexity, because the further you get towards winter, the more difficult it actually becomes to play. But I can tell beginners that the main thing is to actively survive the first season and the end of winter - after that it becomes noticeably easier to play.
Plot: the plot is mainly humorous and refers to a certain satire of fantasy in the realities of modern streets and even in the guise of a homeless person. Therefore, the plot of the story is extremely typical: the main character loses his memory and tries to remember who he is. Only this is also presented here in such a way that the main character finds out that he is a homeless person from the Bukhari clan, who are trying to drink themselves into unconsciousness. But the main plot twists are made by additional quests, of which there are a huge number and quite a wide variety.
Sounds and music: the game has sad, but not so annoying music. As for the sounds, the language is only Czech, it is very atmospheric, and also the almost iconic sounds of the homeless man himself, which I really enjoyed! In general, everything is fine with this.
Localization: even though the game doesn’t have Russian voice acting, it doesn’t need it. There's not a lot of dialogue that's voiced because it's mostly text. And Czech is exactly suitable for the location where the events of the game take place.
Graphics: I would like the graphics to be better, because in some places it is very blurry and blur was noticed, and there is some kind of problem with the light. But it is worth remembering that this is an indie project.
Controls: I have no complaints about the controls itself, but it took me a long time to figure out the interface. He is very difficult. And I would like a pause in the game, because even in offline mode it is impossible to stop the game, while the game is quite dynamic and you can only stop time with the progress of characteristics in dialogues.
Multiplayer: you can’t expect any big fights, but you’re always welcome to run with a friend! In general, I liked the single-player game more, because together with a friend you don’t feel any new experience, except for the general intoxication.
Optimization: the only part in the game that is worth swearing at! At the time I took it, I had a less powerful computer, but still powerful. And the drawdowns occurred precisely during the beginning of the snowfall. Therefore, developers should work with this particular parameter in the game, and it is unclear how this was not corrected at the first sign.
So I recommend the game! Although this is an indie project, you can get a lot of fun and new experience from it. And the game is also very inexpensive.
