Hytale is a role-playing adventure sandbox set in an open, procedurally generated world, viewed from a first-person perspective, taking the best from Minecraft and Terraria and presenting it in a more refined form. The innovation from the developers is the abundance of action elements. The game has both single-player and multiplayer modes. You will embark on an exciting journey full of unforgettable adventures and creativity.
The game combines an interesting sandbox with a well-developed role-playing system that immerses you in a procedural world where fairy-tale towers and deep dungeons promise rich rewards to all treasure seekers. Created for creativity, the game offers a lot of entertainment — from building castles to creating scenarios, as well as further customization using simple and powerful tools.
The development of Hytale began in 2015. Hypixel Studio promises to release the game in 2020 for PC, Mac, and consoles, and later on more devices, including Linux. The exact release date will be announced during 2019. The studio is currently planning beta testing, which you can sign up for on the project website.
The events of Hytale take place in the fantasy world of Orbis, frozen in the Middle Ages, where, in addition to technology, there is magic of 6 elements (fire, water, earth, air, electricity, and void). Basic technologies are primitive, but over time you will be able to unlock modern ones, such as cinemas and film shooting.
The main concept of the "world through blocks" has not changed, but a special engine has been developed for Hytale, allowing for many more blocks in the same volume, higher quality graphics and object models, and significantly improved animation. There will also be more types and kinds of blocks.
The game world is divided into zones (forest, sandy, cold, hot, and so on), and each zone has a set of certain biomes. For example, if rivers of water flow in the forest zone, then rivers of lava flow in the fire zone. At the same time, if you go deep underground, you can dig up lava and rare resources in the forest zone, and explore huge underground lakes, jungles, and hideouts with complex bosses in the fire zone.
It is noteworthy that the game world does not end when the character reaches the sea or ocean. In Hytale, you can explore underwater areas, find sunken ruins and new underground passages. These areas are separate biomes, with their own appearance and procedural generation mechanism, taking into account that the action takes place underwater.
Story and World Backstory
According to the legends of several races on the planet Orbis, the world was created by the goddess Gaia, who gave lifeless stone light, soil, and nature. Gaia possessed magic of all kinds except void, but she unexpectedly disappeared long ago.
Hypixel promises a well-thought-out plot, about which little is known so far. The antagonist was not presented in the published concept art, so we can only assume that he did something bad to Gaia and threatens to conquer the world, filling it with his "void" creations and destroying temples dedicated to Gaia.
The confrontation with him by the hero or heroes will be the main plot.
Characters and Role-Playing Element
It is known that the planet Orbis has several races. At the time of the announcement, the developers showed humans, intelligent trees, and trorks — a kind of ogre. Before starting the game, you will need to create your character and distribute basic attributes, as Hytale has an RPG component.
As usual for role-playing games, as you progress and complete activities, your character will gain experience. This experience translates into levels, which grant attribute points and new abilities. In addition to the main story, there will be hostile factions and structures in the game world that you can either join or ignore.
Factions will have their own territories, and invading them without permission and extracting resources there can lead to conflict.
Almost all objects in the game have their own quality and wear indicators, similar to Diablo. This means that weapons or armor can be common, rare, epic, or legendary, and they will require maintenance. Finding or creating higher-quality weapons can provide interesting effects, such as reflecting incoming damage.
Hytale developers promise an incredible number of game activities, each supported by numerous game mechanics, making the gameplay less monotonous than in Minecraft or Terraria.

Hytale will be more logical and structured than Minecraft, but all NPCs, faction locations, buildings, and resources are determined by map generation rules. The developers aim to create a complex game where crafting, role-playing, story, and sandbox activities harmoniously combine.
A novelty in the genre will be action elements and simple modding of resources directly from the game.
In the first case, this means creating dynamic game arenas from arenas to complex dungeons, each with its own victory conditions — kill the boss, complete the level in the shortest time, score the most points, or play soccer. With enough effort, you can create your own version of "Star Wars."

Режимы многопользовательской игры
В игре будет мультиплеер, реализованный с помощью частных и общедоступных серверов. Пока неизвестно, какие возможности Hytale позволят надолго задержать людей в сетевой игрой — но все перечисленные выше режимы можно смело записывать в актив с поправкой на кооперативное прохождение и PvP-соревнования.

- Игровой мир наполнен существами — помимо разумных рас в нем присутствуют животные и самые разные монстры.
- Разделений на классы у персонажей не будет, но прокачать сразу все возможности не получится, надо будет сосредоточиться на чем-то одном.
- Дабы избежать читерства, Hypixel не позволит модифицировать клиент игры. С той степенью свободы, которую игроки получат с помощью встроенного набора инструментов Hytale, им это будет не нужно.
