Sometimes games come out that absorb and evenly distribute all the best from their genre. These projects can confidently include such a wonderful game as The Incredible Adventures of Van Helsing.

This is not another Diablo clone from the “Hack and slash” genre; the game has many original innovations, but the game does not abandon old ideas, but actively and quite wisely uses them.

A wonderful feature of the game I would like to highlight is the setting of Gothic Europe of the 19th century, as well as the musical accompaniment, which fits perfectly into the overall ambiance of the game, adding even more atmosphere. Also, the humor and various funny Easter eggs that are found throughout the game are captivating.

A very good representative of the Diabloids with his own unique face.

The game is solid, with a simple plot, three classes to choose from, and three threads of skills for three areas of development.

Crowds of evil spirits can be crushed both with good old iron and no less good old magic, and with the achievements of local scientific and technological progress.

The gameplay is dynamic and does not cause fatigue almost until the end of the game.

There are enough secrets and references to various third-party projects - consider the answer “42” and the mention of the phrase “a cake is a lie.” Separately, it is worth noting the quest with the statue of King Borislav - it is long and not easy, but the bonuses at the end are worth it (although no one canceled the random one).

A great game that started a great trilogy. I haven’t played Diablo myself, but they say that the game is a high-quality copy of Diablo. One difference from Diablo is that enemies do not respawn. This frees you from mindless grinding.

The music is very good. I have tracks from all three parts on my daily playlist.

Humor - subtle, in places.

Katarina is one of the best companions in games.

Gameplay - I always played as the good old hunter. Combat for him is very satisfying.

The characters are quite interesting. But the plot is so-so. But the game doesn't even pretend to have a compelling story.

In total, 10 hats from ten.
