Hack and slash
The subgenre of role-playing games "Hack and Slash" implies a focus on the action component. The player, controlling a character, must destroy huge hordes of various enemies using weapons or magic. To do this, it is necessary to constantly use abilities, strikes, and spells, "clicking" on enemies. The cooldowns for skills are usually either very short or completely absent, raising the dynamics of combat to the maximum. All quests usually boil down to exploring locations or killing a required number of specific enemies. The genre is characterized by complete narrative linearity and a lack of deep dialogues.
