Do you know what madness is? No? Play Mad Max. After this game, you will never be the same. This game is a disappointment, with a strong hint of madness.
Lengthy passage of the game, ridiculous duels in cars, realistic fights, constant search for water, food and fuel, clearing out enemy camps, against the backdrop of beautiful views of the bottom of the dried up sea.
Pros:
1. Graphics - the action takes place on the bottom of a dry sea, the map is large, seamless, divided into zones, each zone has its own individuality, starting from the castle of the zone ruler, ending with the types of terrain.
2. The engine is a gorgeous picture without a drop in FPS with maximum settings, on almost any computer build.
3. Great fights - a variety of movements and strikes, finishing moves, dodges, many types of opponents and their weapons, forces you to act selectively and carefully, with a variety of tactics that evoke a feeling of satisfaction from the game.
4. RPG - there is an RPG component that allows you to upgrade the main character’s equipment, making it easier to complete the game. It is very interestingly staged, in the form of self-improvement through a special, separate character.
5. Voice acting - voices, sounds, explosions, everything is gorgeous and natural, and does not cause rejection.
Cons:
1. The plot - I will not reveal, if the beginning is more or less adequate, then in the final stage of the plot, at the end of the game, it causes bewilderment, rejection of the game and the actions of the main character. The passage is very drawn out, by the end you have to go through it.
2. Car - even after unlocking all the upgrades for the car, it will not be perfect, and in random encounters, if the enemy has more than 2 cars, in 90% of cases you will still be forced to get out of the car and destroy opponents’ cars on foot, while the mechanic restores yours and saves it from the explosion, armor does not save the car. To increase maneuverability, you need to remove the armor; with armor, the car only drives straight ahead.
3. Collections - collecting meaningless things that do not give any bonuses.
4. Clearing - in addition to the main enemy bases, there are extraneous camps scattered on the map, clearing which will not bring much sense, only scrap, some resources and collection items.
5. Map - cleared camps are not displayed on the map, only on the mini map when you are nearby, so you have to remember the location of the points where you can replenish water and fuel.
A very strange game about an insane world, where survivors are either completely insane or lucky, there is little adequate in the game and adequate people rarely live in it. In a game where 60% of the action takes place on the car, making the PC's (main character) car so vulnerable to the cars of his opponents causes confusion and disappointment in his actions, which actually causes disappointment in the game. There are a lot of monotonous actions; by the end of the game, when all the skills have been pumped up, clearing the bases only causes irritation. You can play, but the game feels unfinished, as if half the content was cut out of it and released in this form, or they wanted more, but the deadlines were running out.
