Mafia: The Old Country

The first two parts were games of a generation for some, and could compete with a series like GTA, and the plot was many times more interesting and dramatic, IMHO. But the third part is something, even despite the huge number of bugs, you will have nothing in common with the mafia. If in the second part you can put on a coat, a hat, pick up a Thompson, riddled a car with it, set it on fire with a Molotov cocktail and feel in the shoes of the Italian mafia in its heyday, then in the last part, alas, this is not the case. She offers to play as a street thug who takes revenge for his friends, there is no atmosphere of the original, no charismatic characters, no interesting plot. In the fourth part, I would like to go back in time from parts 2 and 3 and see the times of prohibition and famous gangsters, and not street punks.

The first two parts of the game were simply inimitable. These parts are, in my opinion, the best in this genre. The first part is for the plot, and the second is for the plot and gameplay. Personally, I probably replayed the second part 10 times. I can even say that the second mafia was made better than GTA 4. Of course, who has what tastes, but I liked the game more, which has a lot of possibilities, you never get tired of the gameplay and the plot is very beautifully done. Of course, they failed the third part, and not only because of bugs, but more because of the plot. It would be better if they made a continuation of the second part with the same graphics (it was amazing) but with improved gameplay. I'm looking forward to the release of the fourth part. I hope they don't repeat the same mistakes

Well, I doubt that everyone is expecting a mega-bomb game, but it will be interesting to see what the developers come up with this time. I hope the game will be better than just the answer that we are no worse than Rockstar.

Mafia 3 turned out to put it mildly... Bad. Physics, graphics, controls - terrible. What will happen to the 4th part is not clear. Maybe they'll come to their senses and make a really, really good game. The remakes of the two parts turned out very good (the second part, not so much) - I really liked the first part, since I didn’t play the original, but I understood the essence of the game itself, and it’s very awesome when the plot is not changed in any way😁

I don’t know why they are doing this, as for me, the series will not recover after the third part and will not acquire games that, like the first and second mafia, will become cult, not to mention compete with the GTA series (and these two series used to be competed for the attention of gamers almost equally). Of course, we can’t give up on the game, I really hope that the developers will correct the mistakes of the third part, return the old atmosphere, and come up with versatile and attractive heroes, but for some reason it seems to me that nothing good will come of this

The first two parts made a pleasant impression on me in terms of plot, mechanics, physics and more. But they screwed up the 3rd part and even the return of old characters from Mafia 2 did not improve the situation. I hope that in part 4 they will show us what happened between the events of parts 2 and 3; it would also be nice if the developers showed what happened before the plot of parts 1 or 2. In any case, I'll be looking forward to this game.

The first two are gold, the third is extremely controversial, the re-release is good. Don't know. Everything is extremely unstable with these guys, if they do not experiment, but follow the path that they know and are able to do, something amazing awaits us, in the spirit of the first two parts. In case of experiments... Well, really, what will it be, a tactical third-person shooter?

I played all parts of this cult! Especially the first two parts are bomb! I went through it several times. The third one is not for everybody. Let's see what they offer us this time! In general, we are waiting. :)

Mafia 4, of course I’m looking forward to the game because I recently played the remake of part 1, it was amazing. Expectations from the new part are very high 😊👍

Parts of the mafia have always been something special and iconic, they have always stood on par with GTA, although the times are different. I adore the mafia for its “liveness,” so to speak, the liveliness of the city. This part of the mafia will be a big step in the gaming industry, I'm sure. I'm looking forward to the release and give it ten out of ten in advance.

I don't think it will come out at all. But if it comes out, I would like to see a continuation of the tradition of high-quality plot twists, charismatic characters and an atmospheric game world from the new game Mafia 4. I was impressed by the previous Mafia games, especially the second game, which captivated me with its detail, atmosphere, and cinematic approach to storytelling.

They ruined Mafia 3! I don’t think that the fourth part will be anything cool, most likely everything will be very sad, and this series will turn into a la FIFA, where it’s the same thing year after year🙄

Give me a person who would not want to become a mafia man - and I will make a mafia man out of him, just by letting him play the mafia series of games. Even now, in 2021, when you play the old parts again, you get a complete buzz, and when the new mafia comes out, it seems to me that everyone will catch this wave again and start dressing like in those days (surely many people caught this vibe after the series “Peaky Blinders” ). The game promises to be great in every sense. So I advise everyone to save money to buy this work of art!)
