Games Metal Gear Solid 5: The Phantom Pain All reviews Review from Jackie

The best MGS in terms of gameplay. There is a huge scope for tactics, opportunities, stealth has taken a confident step forward and I sincerely believe that this is the right direction for the genre. But as an MGS, she is almost the worst.

There is indecently little plot in it. I can safely say that the game has about 7-10 plot cutscenes for 50 tasks. At the same time, they are placed to fuck off. At the beginning and end of the first chapter, and also at random in the 2nd. At the same time, the plot itself is interesting, and it raises good themes, but damn it, everything ends when it feels like it should develop, and instead you complete side tasks, which in general should be done by the Boss’s subordinates, and not by him (which can be done, but we still have to pass).

It began to seem that the plot and the game were made separately and were glued together literally with chewing gum. Or maybe Kojima thought that we were too emotional and every adventure that we created would be emotional like any of his games, and the base for us is like a child from his first wife.

4 out of 5. I repeat, the game is good. The gameplay drags everything. The production of the videos is excellent, and the plot is interesting. Only there is too little of it and it exists almost separately from the entire game as several videos and a cloud of recordings.
