I was reading a book on metro and decided to play the game. First I’ll tell you in general, then the pros and cons.
metro exodus is a game with a partially open world, during the course of the plot (No spoilers) we will be in different locations - from cold, harsh winter to sweltering heat in the desert. I practically didn’t encounter any bugs, and most of them ended on a box, which was an ordinary texture (This isn’t Red Fall, where you can’t complete the story because of a bug). Unfortunately, there won’t be a very big review, since the main plus (partly and minus) of metro exodus is the plot, and I want it without spoilers, because it’s really interesting. What I liked most was the detail of the weapons, Russian localization, sound and plot. I'll start with the positives here.
Pros of metro exodus:
1) The first plus is the detail of weapons and their modifications. There is a sea of weapons here. From crossbows to AKs, as well as a whole lot of modifications, body kits and improvements to these weapons - improved magazines, barrels, handles, sights, barrels, silencers, lasers, cartridges (for example, incendiary) and more.
2) The second plus is sound, localization. The sound of the weapon is divine. Absolutely everything has been translated into Russian. From menus and subtitles to inscriptions in locations. The music is also good.
Now - the cons:
1) The plot (Partially a plus, but still in the minus category) - I don’t want to go into details, but to put it mildly, there are a lot of holes and inconsistencies in it, although I like the
universe itself.
2) Lack of side quests in a seemingly open world.
This is where the pros end for me, the cons too, since in principle there are not many bugs and everything else is normal, but perhaps I forgot something. The graphics are ok, my RTX 4060 produced 80 - 100 FPS with RTX ultra, but the graphics are not outstanding, for 2019, I would say mediocre. My rating for metro exodus is 8/10.
