Metro: Last Light is a great game with a post-apocalyptic theme, despite the fact that it is open world, like in S.T.A.L.K.E.R. and Fallout is not here. But there are many large locations that tell about the life of ordinary people on the Moscow subway. The combat component for modern shooters is quite ordinary, we fight either with people or with mutants, and the latter usually cause much more problems than the former. There are, oddly enough, bosses in the game - there are three of them. The graphics are at a very good level, not many modern projects can compare with it. The game has two options for passing, one of which (non-aggressive) opens an alternative ending. I recommend playing it even if you are not a fan of shooters.

New threat?

A year has passed since the long and dangerous journey of the main character. But now a new hope has appeared, or a new threat, as some considered it. The main character will again have to shake off the old days and remember his skills in order to go into a new, “fascinating” a journey full of new dangers and new acquaintances.

Like the previous part, difficult decisions await you that can affect the ending of the game. The atmosphere of the game has not gone away and has been preserved in the best possible way.

The graphics have been significantly improved, some iconic places have been added. For example, in one of the missions you will be able to take a walk around Red Square, if you wish, you can visit Grandfather Lenin in the Mausoleum.

No new weapons were added, but a normal… Read full

Continuations of the original based on Glukhovsky’s books. The gameplay is still good for those who like this. The plot moves forward and adapts the books further. The atmosphere is just as good.

Almost everything that was in the last part has been improved.

Metro: Last Light is a continuation of the cult metro 2033. I really liked the game, first of all, for its atmosphere. Interesting plot, dialogues and of course the gameplay itself. It’s interesting to wander around what’s left of the metro and get acquainted with various groups in post-apocalistic Moscow. The game is suitable for both fans of making noise and shooting, and fans of stealth games. Personally, I tried to go through everything quietly. As for the graphics, I want to say that they are excellent here. Lighting, special effects of shootouts and explosions will please the eye. I don’t understand why the developers cut redux - it would be better to build a sequel. I haven’t read any books, but I know that there are quite a few of them, so the field for developers’ work is complete… Read full

Last Light became worse than its predecessor (2033), but not by much. It became shorter, which means that events developed too quickly, and you stupidly don’t have time to understand a lot of things, the gameplay became simpler, in 2033 there were several really difficult moments, but here there are no such moments at all, everything is very simple.

Well, the graphics remained at level 2033.

According to the plot, everything began to go in the opposite direction to the previous part: in the first we had to destroy the Blacks, and in this part, on the contrary, we had to save them.

Back in 2033 I had suspicions that Blacks were bad guys. Oh well.

Good action with a native post-Soviet atmosphere.
