Well, many people didn’t like it, but I liked it. Well, really, the plot is not the most important thing in Mortal Kombat. This is certainly not on the level of Mortal Kombat (2011), my favorite part. There is so much nostalgia for the first laptop, which looked like a waffle iron but is not about it now. Let's look at all the pros and cons in detail.
Pros
The roster is finally classic, without the children of the main characters, without inactive bosses from MK 11 and without new characters. Although in MK 11 I even liked Kotal, especially the love line with Jade.
Cameo - in fact, it’s also in the mobile mortuary, which I’ve had stuck on for a whole month. Everyone hates the mechanics, but I think it’s cool. Although this was partly in the restart. This was done a meter away in a two-on-two fight. It's a shame it won't be brought back.
Graphics - needs no introduction. Everyone has long known that the graphics are becoming more and more cinematic from part to part. Unless we're talking about the version on Nintendo Switch, of course.
Cons
Tanya and Rain - seriously, Rain was my favorite Persian and what they made of him. The charismatic, arrogant character I liked in Part 11 was turned into an anti-hero, and I liked this move. But damn, make him an RPG magician? Am I playing Skyrim by any chance? But Rain is okay, I like him in terms of gameplay, just like Tanya, but everyone knows what Tanya looks like. Tanya was dark before, but not this much! So that you understand, I don’t judge by skin color, I’m not a sexist (although most likely I am), but when a black woman is beautiful, it’s okay, but Tanya, um, I don’t even want to say. Also, the rest of the characters also have changes in level - it’s doubtful, but okay, but the review is already huge. Therefore, I will not touch upon
To summarize: All the pros are 10/10, but because of the idiotic decisions of the retcon, I’m taking off two stars! And plus a third for the plot
