Из предыдущей игры («Need for Speed: Carbon») добавили все машины. В том числе Акура ЭнЭсИкс и новую Хонду Сивик. Новая схема езды по дороге, новые взгляды на уже обыденные гонки. Новая система тюнинга и апгрейда с уже готовым преднастройками для каждой гоночной дисциплины.
Битвы с боссами каждой из гоночных дисциплин и турнирные таблицы. Если правильно настроить машину, то можно получить от неё даже больше того, на что она была расчитана, почувствовав при этом весь уровень адреналина.
