Oxygen

The planet was struck by a natural disaster that brought humanity to the brink of extinction. Few were able to survive thanks to the "Great Igneous Provinces" — volcanoes that do not explode, but open huge cracks in the earth's crust. Bubbling lava flows from these fissures, emitting tons of toxic gases and threatening life on the planet. One of the most dangerous consequences of an eruption is the released gases, which can remain in the atmosphere for centuries, spreading throughout the planet under the influence of wind and changing its composition.

One of the toxic gases released during the eruption reduced the level of oxygen in the atmosphere, and this led to a catastrophic oxygen deficiency on the planet. However, before it was too late for humanity, the Oxygen Center was invented. This center produces oxygen using the electrolysis of groundwater and obtains the necessary energy from the use of coal. The Oxygen Center is the only hope for salvation.
