Well, in what kind of game can you do something similar when you go for milk?! Rob banks while putting a cat on the barrel of a gun instead of a silencer. Destroy civilians by throwing scissors everywhere, and then gleefully urinate on lifeless bodies. This trash and frenzy is why people fell in love with the game.
It would seem that there is no plot here, but how vital! The bitch wife sends you to get milk (or, alternatively, take out the trash), and you literally go crazy and start wreaking havoc. Well, who hasn’t? A recognized classic of the genre (albeit its own).
A small warning: do not watch the film Postal by Uwe Boll. This gentleman made simply terrible film adaptations of video games.
