Realism on a reduced scale

This is exactly what can be said about the game called RED ORCHESTRA 2 HEROES OF STALINGRAD (hereinafter referred to as RO 2 or RO 2). Speaking of realism, I immediately remember the good old Arma. Yes, this game has a little bit of that , what we encountered in Arma, but unlike Arma, we do not have to overcome huge distances in order to die from one bullet and overcome this distance again. But first things first.

As you already understood from the name, the battles will take place in the destroyed Stalingrad. What is so special? Small streets filled with ruins of houses. Huge high-rise buildings that survived the bombing, destroyed equipment. Around every corner, in any place, danger awaits you. No such a place where you hide and they won’t get you. If they don’t … Read full

Red Orchestra 2: Heroes of Stalingrad is the game where after every death you think in your head: “Where from?!”, “Which grenade was just alive?!”, “You mean from the other end of the map?!” and the like, and at some point you start to like everything, because in a day or two it will no longer be you asking such a question, but your enemies.

It should be clarified that mgra is actually quite hardcore, especially for those who mainly played (or plays) Cod and Battlefield because there is no exact designation... In general, you don’t see the mini map, there’s no health bar, there’s no stamps over players (even allies), and all this gives the game realism.

The gameplay is quite complicated for those who have just started, but when you already know every control button you begin to understand th… Read full

I completed both the offline version and played on Steam (420 hours). The game is very hardcore and realistic in many ways. In it you will die from one bullet. Machine gunners and submachine gunners destroy the infantry. Tanks and artillery units break through the points. Buy it on Steam for 500 rubles, at discounts of 100-200. You won't regret it. This is the only game where the Soviet-German front is played adequately and very brutally. You don't need a lot of powerful hardware. I had a 775 socket and played at 60 fps at low speeds quite normally. Updated, you can turn it up to maximum.
