Games Resident Evil 3 All reviews Review from Василий Канунников

What can I say...

I haven't played the original and I'm not really a fan of the entire series. However, the remake of the second part, which became for me the best horror game of the last five years, inspired me to study the entire series.

I really liked the second part. This is a sensible remake, preserving the intense atmosphere of the original and new features for newfags and casuals like me. Puzzles, characters, cutscenes, graphics, zombies - everything in this game remains at the same level... which I can’t say about the third part.

At the moment, I declare that this game is the fastest in modern games. In 4 hours I ran through the entire game and reached the end. And I didn't like it.

I wanted the same atmosphere as in the second part. Deserted streets, darkness, quiet sounds of zombies. Here we see streets literally infested with zombies, and they also give you an incredible amount of ammunition and all sorts of weapons. Well, at least the conservation here is the same as in the second part.

The graphics remained at the same level, but the music... Listen for yourself, I didn’t really like it. Localization - subtitles, but sometimes they are simply inconvenient to read.

The plot... Well, I can’t say that it’s bad, but I didn’t really like the modern vision of the plot of the third “rezik”. Especially Nemesis. I recently completed the third resident on the emulator, and I would have just shoved that thug there instead of that clown whose every action makes me laugh.

The final score is visible below. The remake is no good, and would be better sold as DLC for RE2:R, as Capcom wanted before.

(oh yes, and about the separate multiplayer... horror and nothing more. I don’t wish him death, since there’s no need to, because he’s already dead)

Солидарен с мыслью, что игра могла бы позиционироваться как DLC.
