Games Resident Evil 3 All reviews Review from Henry Morgan

After listening to the reviews, I concluded that only those who did not play the original really liked the game. And those who played expected more and were disappointed in the game. I played the original myself, but I'll try not to be too harsh on the game.

I don't quite understand the developers' motives when they cut out a bunch of content that was in the original game. Okay, I’m ready to forgive that they cut out just awesome locations, okay, they removed the worm boss, and God bless him. But removing all the puzzles from the game... Who is the game aimed at? For push-button casuals who can’t even think? “Oh my God, this is a puzzle, I still won’t play the game.” Or maybe I’m the only one, and modern gamers have become completely shallow, and they “give me a joke for 5 hours, but they make me think like that at school.” In general, when I played, it always seemed to me that the game had been made easier than ever as if they were afraid that the game would seem too difficult. But the game should be difficult, this is a survivor horror. What kind of autosaves can there be? And where are the typewriter ribbons? The only hope I have now is for the fan community, that they will release a mod that brings back feeds and removes autosaves.

The zombies are not bad, the levels are beautiful, but all this is very little. There is no feeling of fear that I felt when I played the original. Nemesis is epic, yes it is scripted, but in the original it was also scripted. But in the original, it caused me indescribable horror, but here it’s rather annoying. Because when I first met him, I had a pistol and one clip, but here I have grenades, a shotgun, a bunch of cartridges, a bunch of first aid kits.

For those who defend the remake, I’ll say: “Guys, they sold you a crude product. If the developers spend another year creating the game, they add all the locations, riddles, and everything that they cut out of the game, were you guys really would you be unhappy? It’s unlikely that you would say, wow, the clock tower, I didn’t want to play in it. Everyone, both new players and fans of the series, would be happy.”

There was a little hope that they would release DLC for the game, even paid ones, and add everything that was missing, but no, then I found out that no additions are expected. This is very sad.

To summarize my review, the game is not bad, really not bad. But this is its failure, because it could have become a masterpiece, a game of the year, but it’s just not bad, a kind of pass-through game.

I won’t even play multiplayer. Bring back the mercenaries!
