Rules of Survival

Rules of Survival — an online action game with a third-person view. You will parachute onto an island full of various ammunition and hostile players. Your task — to survive in a gradually shrinking zone.

The multiplayer online shooter Rules of Survival in the "battle royale" genre offers all the same features as the famous PuBG, only for mobile devices. A huge map, up to 120 players per round, a shrinking world, lots of weapons, vehicles, and loot. Just like in the genre's laws, you need to strive to survive as long as possible by killing opponents, just to be the last one standing.

At the beginning of 2018, the game features two maps, with buildings and vehicles in an American style. The first map is a flat template island with one type of terrain, while the second map consists of several islands connected by bridges, with different types of terrain, elevations, and ravines.

All buildings and rooms within them can be searched, but the level design is simpler and more straightforward, with no places to reliably hide. Almost always, the character is visible as if on the palm of your hand. As per the genre's laws, the game world inexorably shrinks as the number of players decreases, which is shown by the dispersion of toxic gas, and you can't run around in it for long.

There are zones with the best loot, but everything, including respawn on the map and zone movement, is chosen randomly. Transport, which has rudimentary physics, can speed up movement, but it needs to be handled carefully, and it doesn't always drive adequately everywhere.

The game features all types of weapons: pistols, submachine guns, assault rifles, and even sniper rifles and machine guns. The quantity of weapons is still a bit limited, but the developers strive to give each gun its own characteristics, which is already an achievement for a mobile game. There is a hit calculation system, and you can kill an enemy with a single shot from a rifle.

Ammunition is present in sufficient quantities and is divided into quality levels, the higher it is, the better. Traditionally, you need to pick up a backpack, store food and medkits in it, and wear armor and helmets. Defense is much more important than weapons, as shooting is difficult, and good defense always works. Much of the ammunition upgrades automatically, just by picking up the item. Gold is awarded for each round, which can be spent on loot boxes in the store.

In Rules of Survival, there are several modes: solo, duo, or squad. In the first case, all players will be solo, while in the others, you can team up with 2 or 3-4 people. There is an in-game chat for communication, but gameplay with random players without voice chat is likely to disappoint. For detecting enemies, it is recommended to play with headphones; good sound is very important.

Players plan for a long time with the parachute over the terrain, and you can fly far away from the "hot zones" with lots of players and let them kill each other. After landing, you need to search for loot that is lying around at your feet in every building or kill other players. The game constantly drops useful loot from planes, which is more of a bait than a useful feature. As usual, it all comes down to shoot – survive until the round ends.

The controls are maximally optimized for mobile devices, many actions occur with a long press, modules and modifications for weapons are installed automatically. The inventory is organized more simply, some actions are assigned to hotkeys.
