A great action movie in a GTA-like style. The game, of course, turned out to be a vinaigrette from many games: pushing cars, like in Wheelman, the combat system is pure Batman from Rocksteady, but, nevertheless, the game became awesome. We have a city with full access: go wherever you want, kill whoever you want. You have to play as an undercover cop in order to bring criminal gangs to light. In our arsenal we have both hand-to-hand and firearms. The fact is that using a firearm is not interesting, it’s much more interesting to fight hand-to-hand, fortunately the combat mechanics and staging are pleasing, + the interactive environment. For example, you can stick your opponent’s head into an aquarium, or into audio speakers... The plot is quite interesting, there are very interesting characters.

Perhaps we can immediately say that the game is undervalued, as evidenced by at least sales, because it is believed that the game was a financial failure. However, the game itself is very good. It is generally accepted that such games are GTA clones, but in the case of Sleeping Dogs, this is far from the case. Yes, on the one hand, like in GTA, we have a metropolis, a gangster theme, we ride on all types of transport that we come across, etc. However, as they say, we have our own atmosphere and our own tricks here.

Having played True crime: Streets of LA a couple of times (and tried to play True crime: New York), I really wanted a sequel, and here it is - True crime: Hong-Kong: screenshots, first gameplay videos... and... oops, the game is cancelled. But how much joy the news about the revival of the game brought, or rather about its thorough reworking (and change of name)... and here it is - a masterpiece! A game in which you are completely immersed, you feel like the main character, you furiously slaughter the bastards who killed your friends, there are a lot of emotions!

The game is great. The plot is twisted and that makes it interesting. The mechanics of the cars are so-so, but other aspects are yummy. I really liked the combat. I guess it's because I love Batman Arkham Knight. As for firearms, they are present, but I enjoy fighting hand-to-hand more. I would also like to say about clothes and their bonuses. At first glance, there is not much clothing here, but it is done with taste. From SWAT with a -50% damage bonus, to the Russian bandit style with a +50% accuracy bonus. The percentages are huge, indeed. Each mission has its own clothes to make it easier)

The gameplay is addictive, the controls are convenient, the combat system in the style of the Batman Arkham game series suits the setting about martial arts very well. Alas, you won’t get much use for weapons here, but still, they exist, and it’s nice. True, the controls of the cars, in my opinion, are a little arcade-like, but the game does not pretend to be realistic, so it will do. But the atmosphere of Hong Kong is conveyed perfectly! I recommend it to everyone!

The game is very similar to GTA, but the setting is China. This cannot be classified as a disadvantage, but on the contrary, one of the first advantages. The main character will have to infiltrate one of the Triads in order to eventually expose and put an end to them. But what difficulties await our hero? Despite the fact that in graphical terms the game is inferior by modern standards, and the gameplay is too simple, but this does not diminish the interest. What cannot be taken away from the “old” games is the plot. So what if If you've been looking for a game with a good plot for a long time, I recommend playing it.

A good alternative to GTA, the combat system is well implemented, but the logic with the police is very lame. That is, you can kill people in almost any part of the city and remain unpunished. The weapon system is well implemented. A game where you still only have one weapon, and not a million hidden in your body). I recommend passing it.
