My first Sonic game. As a child, cartridges were not easy to get, so we hacked into everything we found.
- The game is pinball, where the ball is Sonic. Just like in pinball, you need to try to break through everything and everyone, earning points and opening new passages. There is also a main plot - Sonic is looking for Emeralds in Eggman’s lair (though there are many of them, and they are all the same), which are not so easy to get.
- There are not many levels (4 or 5), but to pass them you need to collect all the Emeralds that are scattered in the most unusual places of the location, which you also need to find a way to get to. Well, the bosses, of course, are usually in the form of Eggman robots.
- You can die, just like in pinball, by falling between the flippers, but sometimes with different surprises (for example, in 1 location there is a place where you can’t stand for a long time, otherwise a crocodile will eat you, etc.).
- It’s just hard to beat the game with flippers, because you need to observe timings, look for ways, in case of failures (fell over the edge and ended up in the previous location) to re-pass to the desired location.
- Between levels you can play mini-pinball with its own cartoon atmosphere. From the reflections you can see that Sonic himself is playing it. There you can get extra. glasses and at the end take down the mini-Eggman leader.
I played it before pinball (because I didn’t have a computer), I completed it only once (on Sega), spending the whole day. 9.0 - for my wasted nerves (the game is so annoying sometimes), and for the fact that only Sonic is playable.
