You can play 10 hours on a map and still not meet other races, the game is huge, even on a small map it will take about 20-30 hours, sometimes your leader can almost reach level 5, but shortly before that he becomes insanity and gets - 1000% to experience, the game also contains scientific branches and at the beginning you may be lucky with useful ones, or maybe not so much (since the research being studied works randomly).

Also in the game you should monitor your own government, since even your peaceful race of pacifists can turn into a race that destroys everyone who is for war. The galaxies in the game are huge; exploring them will take a huge amount of time, which you simply cannot keep track of while playing it.

If you like games where everything happens gradually, grabs you with inter… Read full

The game is worth the money. The system of randomization of cards and races is very amazing, strategy, politics, creating races, various studies, all sorts of little things like re-electing a faction or all sorts of machine properties. One of the best strategies on the theme of Space. Gameplay for thousands of hours +, due to the variety of races and random tactics. It took me several hundred hours, and I started playing on older versions. The multiplayer is great, it’s very interesting to play against people, you sit for 10-15 hours in a party with 20 people on discord without a break and play. Gorgeous!!!

I played through the game several times. In the beginning, everything seems simple - you research systems and technologies, build outposts, colonize planets and improve your tin cans, which are called “fleet” here. Then you find some homunculus neighbors. Either be friends with them or fight with them. Then there is nowhere to expand, all that remains is to build up the planets, study new technologies and improve the fleet. DLC adds a bunch of events and mechanics that will help make Stellaris much more interesting. Then you conquer your neighbors (or make friends with them - depending on who you play for), receive their resources, the fleet becomes larger, you conquer more, and more. The last problem is the "end of game crisis" - very strong enemies coming from another galaxy. They can gr… Read full

I am very glad that at one time I was already a mature enough person to buy the game and not download it. But directly about the game itself:

First, when playing Stellaris, you risk disappearing for a week. Civilization, heroes of sword and sorcery (albeit to a lesser extent) also mercilessly devoured our time, but if in these games such an effect was mainly achieved through games with a friend or a random player online, in Stellaris you will disappear even without multiplayer, because you can’t just leave everything to chance and move away, events happen constantly and you need to sit and react to them.

Second - buy the game already and go play, because there you can create your own species/race/state/culture/religion/fleet/ships/history.

I don’t really like anything about Stellaris, well, the animals are sometimes funny, the political coordinates are normal...

At the same time, completely unrealistic economics - for example, why can I get, say, 5 energy from one star, and nothing else , and on the other hand, only 5 science? It’s nonsense)) Another nonsense is the ability to exchange anything “on the market” for energy and vice versa. Who are you changing with?? Stupid system of hypertunnels, “war fatigue”, even if it is a micro-war, etc., etc.

I approve of addons like Real Space, but it won’t save THIS game.
