It's done! The complete translation of the main game The Case of the Golden Idol + 2 DLC: The Spider of Lanka and The Lemurian Vampire is ready and available for download. The translation is made as close as possible to the original game, there is no gag. All text, all pictures and all videos in the game have been translated. The size and placement of each word in the game (where necessary) has been manually corrected and adapted to the content. The main font of the game november does not contain Cyrillic letters, so a new font had to be created based on it. The font was made as similar to november as possible to match the spirit of the original game.
The translation was made based on the game version 2023.05.02 DLC 1.0.1c for the Epic Games Store. But it should also work for builds from other trading platforms such as Steam, GOG and others. In theory, it should work on any version of the game.
Installation instructions:
- Copy the contents of the archive and paste it into the game folder (where the files with the .exe and .pck extensions are located)
- Next, run the file called “Install Russifier for The Case of Golden Idol.bat”. Wait for this process to complete. The installation will be completed as soon as the command prompt is closed.
- After closing the command line, you can start the game.
- Important No. 1: If you want to get achievements, DO NOT run the game directly from the game folder! Instead, launch it from the application of the marketplace where you purchased the game (Steam, Epic Games Store, GOG, etc.).
- Important No. 2: When you start the game directly from the game folder, a SEPARATE save will be created.
- Note 1: On slower computers, installation may take several minutes.
- Note 2: After installing the crack, it is recommended to start a new game.

Свершилось! Полный перевод основной игры The Case of the Golden Idol + 2 DLC: The Spider of Lanka и The Lemurian Vampire готов и доступен для скачивания. Перевод сделан максимально близко к оригиналу игры, никакой отсебятины нет. Переведён весь текст, все картинки и все видеоролики в игре. Размеры и расположение каждого слова в игре (там, где это необходимо) было вручную исправлено и адаптировано под содержимое. Основной шрифт игры november не содержит букв кириллицы, поэтому пришлось создать на его основе новый шрифт. Шрифт был сделан максимально похожим на november, чтобы соответствовать духу оригинала игры.
Перевод делался на основе версии игры 2023.05.02 DLC 1.0.1c для Epic Games Store. Но также должен работать и для сборок из других торговых площадок, таких как Steam, GOG и других. По идее, должен работать на любой из версий игры.
Инструкция по установке:
- Скопируйте содержимое архива и вставьте его в папку с игрой (туда, где расположены файлы с расширением .exe и .pck)
- Далее запустите файл с названием "Установить Русификатор для The Case of Golden Idol.bat". Откроется командная строка (cmd) и начнётся процесс распаковки/запаковки файлов игры. Дождитесь окончания данного процесса. Установка будет завершена как только командная строка закроется.
- После закрытия командной строки вы можете запускать игру.
- Важно №1: Если хотите получать достижения НЕ запускайте игру напрямую из папки с игрой! Вместо этого запускайте её из программы той торговой площадки, где вы покупали игру (Steam, Epic Games Store, GOG и т.д.).
- Важно №2: При запуске игры напрямую из папки с игрой создастся ОТДЕЛЬНОЕ сохранение.
- Примечание 1: На не самых быстрых компьютерах установка может занимать несколько минут.
- Примечание 2: После установки русификатора рекомендуется начать новую игру.
