Skyrim is an interesting game when you look at it in a detached way, but as part of a continuation of the Elder Scrolls series, it is a very mediocre work. The plot seems to be epic, but it is shown in an unrevealed way, which is why you completely forget about the storyline after you come to Whiterun. When I first completed Skyrim, I purely completed side quests that boiled down to “go to the dungeon gut and bring me from it the family dagger/amulet/hat/doormat/chamber pot” because of which our CHOSEN hero, the only person , who can kill a dragon, turns into an errand boy. At the very least, this is strange
The gameplay, as I already said, comes down to simple trips to linear dungeons and that’s it. The combat is, of course, better than in Oblivion or Morrowind, but nevertheless very simplified.
There's nothing special about the controls. More convenient than in Morrowind or Oblivion, but still nothing special.
With the music everything is the same, the typical soundtrack of the Elder Scrolls, only a little Scandinavian decorated.
Localization is tolerable. Not great, but tolerable.
Bottom line: the game is not bad, but much worse than other parts of the series.
