Skyrim is a wonderful adventure game. A truly role-playing game with an open world and a huge universe. But I would like to express what seems to me to be a painfully obvious drawback in Skyrim. I will do it step by step:
1 Forced involvement in mythology and politics.
During any communication, the character is obliged to tell you much more than you asked him. Have you decided to approach the character? He will already start grumbling so much that you will find out about politics, related characters and so on. And so does EVERYONE. Simply put, the characters are unnaturally talkative. Everyone wants to tell you as much as possible. IMHO, it's nonsense. And I don’t like it when they force mythology into me, which, if I wish, I would rather study in books or ask them.
2 Single-scheme guild tasks
There’s nothing to say here. First the apprentice, then the clearing/killing missions, then an unexpected turn, the head of the quest and bang - we are the head of the clan. and you don’t even have to be a thief or a mage to be in their guild. At the same time, you can be in all of them at once. IMHO, it's a shame.
3 Unreasonable assignments
Although there is criticism not only of them, but also of assignments in general. Unreasonability is usually expressed in the fact that no matter where you go, everything will result in “kill”. Even to be a bard, you have to go to the dungeon. Be able to speak beautifully? Write? read? No, the main thing is to kill normally. And so more than one task..
4 Transience of tasks
In 15 minutes of a fairly large task you manage to become friends with a person, change the opinion of the guards 2 or 3 times, go to another dungeon and get a knife in the back. I'm exaggerating of course, but there is no smoothness in long quests. It’s as if they are giving us an exposition so that we can quickly see the brightest moments and go through it. I understand why they did this, but again because of this there are very few really memorable quests.
5 Not all quests give freedom of choice to complete them.
Or rather, very few give. There are those quests in which, in order to complete the task, you have to cooperate with a character who would be given a knife in the back. However, the quest would be considered failed. This is where I may be wrong, but in the end, whatever you say, in some quests you are forced to do what you don’t want and are not given an alternative version of events other than ignoring them. It's a small thing, but it's a pity.
6 It’s easy to make yourself victorious armor
It’s been a fact for a long time. I won’t even write too much
7 werewolves have no flaws
It would be nice if they howled at the moon every night, but in fact you stupidly won’t sleep (which is nonsense) and you can’t catch the disease. It's like one big disease bonus for a regular character. They weren't thought through completely, IMHO.
7.1* no realism mod =
8 companions
When you approach them, then they become equal to you. They are no longer growing in level and this is infuriating. While you are getting better, your Lydia looks at you and cries that soon you will not need her at all and you will find another companion. And anyway they are stupid. Useful in battle, but hellish to travel with.
9 Wedding and love, fuck off
Personal quibble. Don't pay attention
10 dialogues
Kroch is not the level of you know what “effect” and whose “era”. And if it’s normal, then they are simply very simple. You often don’t believe in the characters and, as I said above, there are a lot of unnecessary words.
10.1 They promised!
They promised that if you throw a sword on the road and 2 homeless people notice it, they will fight for it! God, I bought the game with this thought in mind. Can you imagine the horror of seeing that all this is not there?
11 Main plot
Also a purely subjective quibble, but the plot should hold up the main chapters, be something that makes you want to play through the game. An indicator that he is the main one, and the rest are secondary. I understand that Bethesda has games about adventures and side quests, but their main quests, alas, are not intriguing to complete.
12 Dungeons
I understand that many people associate adventure with the plundering of caves and tombs... but objectively speaking, then about a third or a quarter of the map are points specifically intended for the Holocaust "simply because people want to kill ". I understand that a lot can be ignored, but going to another dungeon for the sake of a new scream... I’ll say this, this is not the motivation to go there (considering that they are all almost identical), but on the contrary, making a decision that the price does not justify the means.
