If you describe the game in one word, then this word is Budget.
The fact that this game was made for relatively little money is simply striking. For example, the graphics are not bad, but not wow either, there are no complaints about it, but there will be no admiration either. The overwhelming majority of interiors are copy-paste, i.e. if it’s some kind of plant, a factory or something like that, then it’s one interior, if it’s a rich man’s house, then it’s a second one, and so on, the differences are only in the details, the layout is always the same, it got to the point that when you go through the next quest you think that you’ve already been here. Inside the houses, all interior items are absolutely static, i.e. tightly nailed to the floor or table. Underfunding is also visible in the city, there seem to be people wandering around who are supposed to imitate life, but in fact they just walk in circles without a goal and it happens that they simply disappear or respawn almost before your eyes. And although I did not encounter any serious bugs in the game that interfered with the passage, I saw many small graphic ones, for example, 2 NPCs merged together, i.e. this is when two dummies seem to be standing in the same place in the same pose and making the same body movements, it’s just that one can see through the other and other small graphic bugs. Among the bugs, it can also be noted that sometimes you can kill a mob through a wall, but sometimes it can also kill you through a wall, so everything is fair), but it does not occur so often as to cause serious inconvenience. The combat itself is just as clumsy and doesn’t bring the slightest desire to engage in it.
And in small things you can dig into some aspects of the game.
But in fact, all of the above is nonsense, just cosmetic inconvenience. Since this is a game, the main problem lies in the gameplay. And the problem is not in him, because the mechanics of the investigation themselves are quite interesting. The problem is that we will try all the mechanics of investigating a case already in the 1st hour of the game, and then for dozens of hours we will repeat it over and over again, again and again, and over time it ceases to be enjoyable.
I would say that the main advantages of the game are the plot and atmosphere. The quests are really addictive and the story is interesting. Side effects, not all, but half are also interesting and thoughtful.
Total. I wrote a lot of negative things about the game here, but I gave it 6.5 points, it doesn’t seem to fit somehow. But this is precisely my subjective opinion and it was formed, firstly, because I value the plot in games, and it’s good here, and secondly, I bought the game at EGS for 650 (there was a discount there) and as a pre-order bonus for me They also gave me "Sherlock Holmes Devil's doughter", that is, I didn't pay the full price, but for half the price I got 2 games and priced them according to the price.
And finally, a piece of advice, you need to play the game in doses; if you play in one gulp, then the game can become very boring and you risk quitting it.
