Сюжет по сравнению с первой частью стал немного хуже, в этот раз мы попадаем в Балтимор на котором творится настоящий ад, цель нашего визита сюда проста отмстить злодею который покушался на нашу семью

Отличие от первой части есть, например теперь мы можем прокачивать трансформацию и использовать спецатаки во время превращения в монстра. Есть новое оружие, есть ящики с боеприпасами, оружие ближнего боя и гранаты. Есть новые монстры, старые уничтожаются по той же тактике как и в первой части, некоторых монстров можно убить только в режиме трансформации. Заметки в журналах появляются как и в первой части, есть и карта, но я ею вообще не пользовался. Теперь банки зомбиума сразу восстанавливают здоровье а не копятся в инвентаре, так же при критическом показателе здоровья оно восстанавливается спустя время до примерно 25%.
