Games The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt All reviews Review from k0tel0k

A wonderful game, exciting, soulful, impressive, but not without its flaws. I completed all the tasks, main and secondary, everything except the questions on the map, I completed them if I met them along the way. It was possible to form an opinion and highlight the main points.

1. The graphics are very beautiful, the game was released in 2015, but even now everything is very pleasing to the eye.

Excellent elaboration of the world, it is filled with details, nature seems alive, wonderful level design of cities that are interesting even just to wander around, cozy small villages look very natural.

2.Gameplay - as I wrote above, walking around and exploring the world is very interesting. Regarding the combat, everything is ambiguous. The battle itself looks beautiful, realistic animations, juicy, bloody, but everything changes when the RPG system is connected. I played on the hard difficulty level and tried to complete everything to meet the level and complete the main tasks, otherwise I fell behind and had to grind. Everything would be fine if the game wasn't called The Witcher. As you know, we play for Geralt of Rivia, one of the most famous swordsmen, there are legends about his skill, he is one of the fastest, toughest and strongest witchers, because he managed to survive more stages of mutation, so few warriors can oppose anything to him. At the time of Part 3, Geralt had already regained his memory and it would no longer be possible to say that he had lost his skills. It turns out that when a famous witcher meets a bandit who is several levels higher, he has to flee otherwise the bandit will kill him with 1 blow. Within this universe, this is complete absurdity.

I can’t say anything special about leveling, I didn’t really like it, but it has its place. In general, I miss leveling up from the first Witcher, and because the battle animations were constantly changing there after increasing skills, new abilities were unlocked, it was interesting. In The Witcher 3, leveling up didn’t interest me; it’s pretty boring, there are few interesting abilities there.

3. Quests - everything is good here, all the tasks are quite interesting and adequate, good variety. The main plot is good. Separately, I would like to note the excellent plot of the Blood and Wine add-on - a big world and a sea of content.

4. Music is great music, but in my opinion, it lacks the soulfulness that was in the first part, I would like a little less epic, a little more medieval gloom present in the books and in the first part.

5. Localization - Russian localization is terrible, overacting, missing voices, bad casting, swearing where there are none, arbitrary translation and a very, very strong mismatch in timing and for which the character chatters quickly like a robot, or speaks slowly, play It’s simply impossible, it’s better to put it in English or Polish, everything is fine there.

Bottom line: most of the problems can be solved with the help of mods, there is almost everything for every taste, so it’s a great game that I will play many, many times)
